Alex: So, tell me a bit about yourself.

Contestant: Well, I'm a big fan of the Bible, so I'd like to share a summary of Mark 4.

Alex: [sighs] Alright, go ahead.

Contestant: In the fourth chapter, Jesus begins to teach the people with parables. He explains the parable of the sower and the seed, the parable of the lamp, and the parable of the growing seed. He also explains the meaning of each parable and why he told them. He then goes on to explain the parable of the weeds and the wheat, and how it will be separated by harvest.

Alex: [clearly becoming frustrated] Uh huh. Anything else?

Contestant: Yes, he also talks about the power of faith and how even a tiny bit can move mountains. He encourages his disciples to have faith and stay focused on their mission. He also speaks about the danger of idle chatter, which can lead to spiritual death.

Alex: [irritated] So, uh, how does the chapter end?

Contestant: Jesus ends the chapter by saying that his listeners should be careful how they hear his words, and warns them of the consequences if they don't follow his teachings.
