Alex Trebek: "So, tell me a bit about yourself."

Contestant: "Well, I've been studying the book of Job lately. In chapter 23, we find Job struggling with his faith in the midst of his suffering. He feels abandoned by God and yet he desires to meet with God and plead his case. He longs for justice but feels he cannot find it. Despite his doubts, Job continues to seek God and remain true to his faith."

Alex Trebek: (Sighs) "That's... uh... nice. So, do you have any hobbies?"

Contestant: "Actually, while I'm on the subject of the Bible, I think it's important to point out that in Job 23, God finally responds to Job's cries. He speaks to Job out of a whirlwind and basically tells him that he is not capable of understanding God's ways. This reinforces the idea that God is ultimately in control and that his plans are beyond our comprehension."

Alex Trebek: (Exasperated) "Right, okay then. Do you have any other interests you'd like to share?"

Contestant: "Well, there's one more thing I wanted to mention about Job 23. Despite the fact that God's response to Job is somewhat mysterious, it affirms Job's faith that God is ultimately in control and that his plans are ultimately just and good."

Alex Trebek: (Rolls eyes) "Yes, of course. Moving on..."
