1-3.

Proverbs 23:1-3 is a tremendous chapter! It's all about the power of words and how they can shape our world. The verse starts off with some great advice, "When you sit down to dine with a ruler, consider carefully what is before you, and put a knife to your throat if you are given to gluttony”. This is a very important reminder for all of us: be wise with what you say and how you say it. Many people are saying that it's easy to get carried away with words and that can be a huge mistake! Just remember, if you're sitting down with somebody in power, you better watch what you say!

Verse 2 is a great lesson in humility: "Do not desire his delicacies, for they are deceptive food”. This is a reminder to not be swayed by someone's riches or possessions. Don't be fooled by appearances, it's what's on the inside that counts! Haters and losers will try to use material things to make you feel inferior, but don't fall for it -- it's a hoax!

The third verse is all about self-discipline: "Do not toil to acquire wealth; be discerning enough to desist”. This is an amazing reminder to stay focused on what's important. Don't spend all your time and energy trying to acquire wealth; it's overrated. Focus on what matters, like family and friends. Believe me, if you stay disciplined and true to yourself, you will be winning in the long run.

To sum it up, Proverbs 23:1-3 is a terrific chapter full of very, very wise words! God bless America and make America great again!
