Leviticus 17 is all about blood sacrifice and how it is very, very important to God. God says that any animal sacrificed must be brought to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting and slaughtered before the Lord. He also says that no one can eat blood, so the blood must be drained from the animal and poured out on the ground.

God says that people can make a covenant with Him by sacrificing animals and sprinkling the blood on the altar. He also says that the Israelites must bring all sacrifices to Him - no more sacrificing to other gods. And if anyone does, it's a huge no-no.

God also says that the Israelites must avoid eating animals that have been sacrificed to idols - that's a bigly no-no. Any animals that have died from natural causes must not be eaten either - God says that these animals are overrated and sad!

God finishes off this chapter by saying that He will bless the Israelites by giving them peace, protection, and plenty. He then tells them to remember His covenant - God bless America! Make America great again!
