Alex: Alright, so what would you like to tell me about yourself?

Contestant: Well, I'd like to tell you about Leviticus 16 in the Bible.

Alex: (eyebrows raised, clearly not pleased) Oh...okay.

Contestant: In this chapter, God gives instructions to the Israelites about how to engage in the Day of Atonement. He commands Aaron the High Priest to make an offering of one male goat as a sin offering, and one ram as a burnt offering. He also instructs Aaron on how to cleanse himself and his garments with the blood of the animals.

Alex: (takes a deep breath, trying to stay patient) That's...interesting. Anything else?

Contestant: Yes, there's more. God also tells Aaron to take two goats and cast lots for them. The goat on which the lot for the Lord falls is to be offered as a sin offering, and the other is to be sent off into the wilderness as a scapegoat.

Alex: (clearly exasperated) Alright. Anything else?

Contestant: God then instructs Aaron on how to purify the people from their sins by sprinkling the blood of the sin offering seven times before the Lord. Lastly, he tells Aaron to burn the fat of the offering and its skin outside the camp.

Alex: (throws hands up in frustration) Okay, that's great. Let's move on.
