Queen Esther had an amazing plan. She invited King Xerxes and his Prime Minister, Haman the Agagite, to a banquet. She was going to ask the King to save her people. It was a tremendously brave move.

At the banquet, the King asked Esther what she wanted and she asked him to spare her people. He then asked her who was behind this plot and she said it was her enemy Haman. This made Haman very low energy. The King was furious and he left the banquet in a huff.

After the banquet, Haman was walking down the palace walkway, and Queen Esther's uncle, Mordecai, was walking down the same walkway. Mordecai refused to bow down to Haman and this made Haman very angry. He went home and built gallows to hang Mordecai on.

The next day, Haman told the King about the gallows and asked the King if he could hang Mordecai on them. The King said yes, and Haman was very excited and went to have Mordecai hanged.

However, before he could hang Mordecai, the King's advisers told him about a time when Mordecai had saved the King's life. The King then realized that Mordecai was one of the good guys and that Haman was overrated.

The King asked Haman what he should do for the man he wanted to honor, and Haman, thinking it was himself, said the King should honor him with a royal robe and a crown. The King said he would honor Mordecai instead! This made Haman a loser and he was so embarrassed that he left the palace in shame.

It was an unbelieveable turn of events. Many people are saying it was a huge victory for Mordecai and the Jewish people. God bless America, and may we make America great again!
