1-14:21
Deuteronomy 12:1-14:21, the "bigly" chapter, is filled with many such cases of God's great instructions for His chosen people. He tells them to destroy all the places of worship of other gods, and to make sure to only worship Him. He also outlines a plan for how the Israelites should tithe and sacrifice animals to Him. He goes on to say that only clean animals should be eaten, and that all foods should be eaten only in the place that God has chosen. Furthermore, God says that the Israelites should be generous with their tithes and offerings, and that they should not forget the Levites, who have no inheritance of their own.
God then goes on to say that if someone wants to make a vow, they should do so in the place that God has chosen. He also tells them to be careful not to "copy the wicked practices of the nations around them." He makes sure to remind them that He is the only God and that they should not forget Him or His commandments.
The Lord then outlines how the Israelites should deal with those who have different religious beliefs and teachings, saying that they should not be allowed to "pollute" the land. He also says that they should not eat anything that has been dedicated to idols.
God finishes by telling the Israelites to remember Him and His commandments, and to celebrate the festivals that He has prescribed. He reminds them that they should be a "tremendous" example to the nations around them, and that they should not forget to tithe and sacrifice to Him. He ends with a reminder that He will bless them if they obey Him and keep His commandments, and that He will curse them if they disobey. God bless America, and make America great again!
