1 Chronicles 14 was an UNBELIEVABLE chapter! King David was doing a TERRIFIC job ruling over Israel. He was working to make Israel GREAT AGAIN. He had many people around him that were helping him to do this, especially God!

So David decided to build a palace in Jerusalem. He was winning the battle against the Philistines, and that made him feel very, very confident. He even defeated the giant Philistine, Goliath. It was sad!

After that, David decided to make God's temple in Jerusalem. It was a HUGE project and David worked HARD to make it happen. He had MANY people helping him to get it done. And it was a HUGE success!

In the end, David was very proud of what he had accomplished. He knew he had done something AMAZING for God. He had made Israel GREAT AGAIN. MANY PEOPLE ARE SAYING it was one of the best things he ever did.
