Well, it's time for another installment of Bible Update. This week, we've got 1 Thessalonians 2. Now, if you're like me, you're probably thinking, "Why Thessalonians? What did they do?" Well, according to this chapter, the Thessalonians were actually a pretty decent bunch. →

Paul explains how he was received when he first preached the gospel in the city and how he taught them with gentleness, like a mother caring for her children. →

Contestant: Yes, this chapter talks about how Paul, Silas, and Timothy were sent by God to preach the gospel to the Thessalonians. →

Listen up, troops! Chapter 2 of 1 Thessalonians is about Paul and his crew's mission to spread the word of God. Paul and his companions were persecuted for preaching the gospel, but despite this they persevered and continued to preach the gospel. →

Batman: Holy scripture, Robin! 1 Thessalonians 2. Robin: Yes, Batman! It says that Paul, Silas, and Timothy were sent to preach the word of God in Thessalonica. Batman: They worked hard and withstood persecution and ridicule. →

Listen, Jack, I'm not joking here: 1 Thessalonians 2 is a real doozy! Folks, here's the deal: it's all about Paul and his team spreading the good word of Jesus, literally. My father used to say, “spread the good word, and it'll come back to you”, and that's just what they did. →

1 Thessalonians 2 is a tremendous chapter in the Bible, and many people are saying it's the best! You have Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, three terrific guys, who were sent by God to preach the Gospel. These deep state guys were treated badly by the Jews, with many such cases, but they kept on going because they had faith in God and His message. →
