Joe: Alright, we're back and we have our Bible expert with us to talk about 2 Chronicles 4. Let's dive in!

Bible Expert: Sure, so this chapter begins with Solomon building an altar for the Lord, so that he could offer sacrifices according to the law. He also builds a bronze laver, which is a basin for washing, and ten stands for holding the different sacrificial animals.

Joe: Fascinating. So what else happens in this chapter?

Bible Expert: Well, Solomon also builds a courtyard around the temple, and it's surrounded by three rows of hewn stones and one row of cedar beams. Then he makes two bronze pillars and places them at the entrance of the temple.

Joe: Wow, this guy was really building something impressive.

Bible Expert: Definitely, and he's not done yet. He also makes a molten sea, which is a large basin, and ten bronze carts, each with four bronze oxen. He also makes many other vessels for use in the temple.

Joe: Alright, let me ask Jamie to Google this and make sure it's true.

Jamie: Looks like it checks out, Joe!

Joe: Great! So what else happens in this chapter?

Bible Expert: Well, the chapter ends with Solomon making an offering to the Lord and dedicating the temple. He also makes a prayer of thanks for the Lord's blessings.
