Joe: Alright, so we got our Bible expert here to tell us all about the 2nd Book of Chronicles, Chapter 32. So what's the jist of this chapter?

Bible Expert: Well, the chapter starts with King Hezekiah of Judah getting attacked by Sennacherib, who was the king of Assyria. Hezekiah was really outnumbered, but he called on the people of Judah to remain brave and trust in the Lord.

Joe: Whoa whoa whoa, hold on a minute. Assyria? What is that?

Jamie: *Googling* It's a Mesopotamian kingdom that flourished from the 25th to the 6th century BC.

Joe: Ah, got it. So what happened next?

Bible Expert: Well, Hezekiah refused to surrender to Sennacherib, even though he was heavily outnumbered. He prayed to the Lord for help, and then the Lord sent an angel to destroy the Assyrian army and save Hezekiah from certain defeat.

Joe: Wow, the Lord really came through for Hezekiah. What happened after that?

Bible Expert: After Hezekiah's miraculous victory, he was filled with gratitude and offered a sacrifice to the Lord. He also made a proclamation that the people of Judah should worship the Lord and not turn to idols. Hezekiah also encouraged the people of Judah to be strong and not be afraid of the Assyrians.
