Alex Trebek: "So what do you do for fun?"

Contestant: "Well, I like to read the Bible, and I like to summarize the chapters for people. Let me tell you about Hosea 7!"

Alex Trebek: (Sighing) "Ugh, not the Bible again. Alright, what is Hosea 7 about?"

Contestant: "Hosea 7 is about how the Israelites are unfaithful to God, as they turn to foreign gods and idols. Their sins are so great that God begins to punish them, and their enemies begin to overtake them."

Alex Trebek: (Rolling eyes) "What else?"

Contestant: "God compares the Israelites to an untamed animal, and says that they are like a silly dove, without understanding. God also says that their hearts are like an oven, whose fire is not put out, and that they have become like a cake that is not turned over. Basically, God is saying that the Israelites have become so sinful that they can't turn back to Him."

Alex Trebek: (Frustrated) "Ok, I think that's enough about the Bible. Let's move on to something else!"
