Alex Trebek: Alright, (Contestant Name), tell us a bit about yourself!

Contestant: Well, I'm an avid reader, and I've recently been studying the Bible. I've been reading 2 Kings 25, and I thought I'd share a brief summary of it with you!

Alex Trebek: Uh, sure. (sighs)

Contestant: In this chapter, Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon invades Jerusalem and captures the city. He forces King Zedekiah and the people of Jerusalem into exile. Nebuchadnezzar then destroys the Temple, the royal palace, and the walls of Jerusalem. He also takes the gold and silver from the Temple as tribute.

Alex Trebek: (sighs) Alright, that's great. Anything else?

Contestant: Yes! After the destruction of Jerusalem, Nebuchadnezzar appoints Gedaliah as the governor of Judah. He also releases some of the exiled people and allows them to remain in Judah. But a few months later, Gedaliah is murdered by a Jewish leader named Ishmael, and the people of Judah flee to Egypt to escape the Babylonians.

Alex Trebek: (sternly) Right. Anything else you'd like to share?

Contestant: No, I think that's it for 2 Kings 25!
