Alex Trebek: So, tell me about yourself! What do you do for fun?

Contestant: Well, I love reading the Bible. In fact, let me tell you about Song of Solomon 5. In this chapter, the Shulamite woman expresses her love for the shepherd with whom she is in love. She calls him a deer, a gazelle, and a young stag and talks about how he has stolen her heart.

Alex Trebek: [rolls eyes] Uh huh...and what else?

Contestant: Well, the Shulamite woman then goes on to describe how the shepherd is like a bundle of myrrh and how his kisses are sweeter than wine.

Alex Trebek: [sighs] Okay, and then what?

Contestant: The Shulamite woman then invites the shepherd to come away with her and enjoy the pleasures of love. She calls out to him, saying "arise, my love, my fair one, and come away".

Alex Trebek: [clearly exasperated] Right, and then what happened?

Contestant: The shepherd then responds to the Shulamite woman, saying that he has been looking for her and that he had searched for her in the night, but to no avail. He then invites her to come away with him and enjoy the pleasures of love.

Alex Trebek: [sighs loudly] Alright then, moving on...
