Alex: So, tell us about yourself.

Contestant: Well, did you know that in Esther 3, the King of Persia, Ahasuerus, promotes Haman to be his Prime Minister?

Alex: [Stifling a groan] Uh, that sounds very interesting. Do you have any hobbies outside of the Bible?

Contestant: Well, Esther 3 also tells us that Haman was a descendant of the Amalekites and had a major problem with the Jews living in the kingdom. He proposed a plan to the King to kill all the Jews in one day, and the King agreed.

Alex: [Gritting his teeth] Right... What about sports? Do you like sports?

Contestant: Well, Esther 3 also tells us that Esther and her cousin Mordecai devise a plan to save the Jews. Esther approached the king and revealed her Jewish identity, and the King spared the Jews.

Alex: [Rolling his eyes] So, um, do you have any other interests?

Contestant: Yes, Esther 3 also tells us that the Jews were allowed to defend themselves against their enemies, and they killed 75,000 of their adversaries. In the end, the Jews were victorious, and their enemies were defeated.
