Joe: Hey everyone, I'm Joe and I'm here with Bible Expert and we're doing a Chapter by Chapter of the Bible. So what do we have today?

Expert: Today we are going to look at Psalms 114.

Joe: Wow, ok, so what's so special about this chapter?

Expert: This chapter is all about praising God. It opens with the words "When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language." This is referring to the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and how God helped them escape from the Pharaoh.

Joe: So why did God do that?

Expert: Good question. God wanted to show His power and love for His people. He wanted to demonstrate that He was with them and that He could protect them from any danger.

Joe: Wow, that's pretty amazing. So what else do we learn from this chapter?

Expert: Well, it goes on to talk about how the sea and the Jordan river parted for the Israelites so that they could cross over and into the Promised Land. This was another demonstration of God's power.

Joe: Wow, that's incredible. So what else does this chapter teach us?

Expert: Well, it ends with a reminder to always praise God and to remember that He is with us and will always be with us. It's a reminder to always be thankful for the blessings He has given us.

Joe: That's a great reminder. So there you have it folks, Psalms 114 is all about praising God and remembering the power of His love.
