Joe: Hey everybody, welcome to The Joe Rogan Bible Experience. I'm Joe Rogan and I'm joined here by Bible expert, _____.

Bible Expert: Hi Joe, great to be here.

Joe: So let's talk about the Book of Jeremiah. What can you tell us about Chapter 20?

Bible Expert: Well, Jeremiah is a prophet and in this chapter, Jeremiah is complaining about the persecution he's facing for preaching God's word. He's been threatened and beaten, but despite that he's still preaching. He's also crying out to God to take vengeance on his persecutors.

Joe: That's pretty intense! Is that a common theme throughout the Bible?

Bible Expert: Absolutely. In the Bible, it's common for the persecuted to cry out to God for justice and to call for the punishment of their oppressors.

Joe: Wow, ok, so what else happens in Chapter 20?

Bible Expert: Well, Jeremiah is also lamenting the fact that he can't find anyone to help him preach God's word. He's having trouble finding people who will listen to his message and take it to heart. So he's calling out to God to give him strength and courage to continue his mission.

Joe: That's really inspiring. Is there anything else in Chapter 20 that you want to tell us about?

Bible Expert: Yes, there is one last thing. Jeremiah is praying for God's blessing on the people who have shown him kindness and support. He's asking God to bless them and to keep them safe from harm.
