Alex: Alright, so, let's move on and get to know you a little more. What did you do last summer?

Contestant: Well, last summer I read each chapter of the Bible, and I'm going to tell you about what I learned from Hebrews 8.

Alex: [sigh] Okay, if you insist. What did you learn from Hebrews 8?

Contestant: In this chapter, the author explains the superiority of the new covenant that Jesus established, over the old covenant that was made with Moses. He explains how Jesus is the mediator of this new covenant, and how it includes better promises than the old one. He also discusses the superiority of Jesus' priestly service over the Levitical priesthood.

Alex: [rolling his eyes] Alright, so, what else?

Contestant: The author also talks about how Jesus' sacrifice has made the old covenant obsolete, and that his sacrifice was actually greater than the animal sacrifices that were offered under the old covenant. He also explains the importance of repentance, and how our sins can be forgiven through Jesus' sacrifice.

Alex: That's...uh...nice. Let's move on to something else. What other hobbies do you have?
