Contestant: Well, I'm a Christian, and I'd like to give a brief summary of the Bible, starting with 1 Thessalonians 1.

Alex: (Rolls eyes) Okay, go ahead.

Contestant: Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy wrote this letter to the Thessalonians to encourage them in their faith and to thank God for their good works. They had obeyed the Gospel in spite of persecution and were an example to other believers. They were patient, labored, and endured in faith, love, and hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
