Alex: Alright, let's start with a little get to know you period. So, [contestant's name], tell me about yourself.

Contestant: Well, Alex, I'm a big fan of the Bible, and I'd like to summarize Philippians 3 for you.

Alex: (Sighing) Alright, go ahead.

Contestant: Philippians 3 starts off with Paul encouraging the church in Philippi to rejoice in the Lord. He then goes on to urge them to think the same way and to keep their eyes on the goal of their faith, which is the resurrection of Jesus. Paul then gives his own testimony, that he had been zealous for the law but had moved away from it and instead put his faith in Jesus. He then explains that he considers all his past accomplishments and successes to be worthless compared to what he has now in Jesus. He also encourages the church to press on toward the ultimate goal of knowing Jesus better and living in his presence.

Alex: (Rolling his eyes) Well, that's interesting, but let's move on to something else.
