Alex Trebek: So, tell me a little bit about yourself!

Contestant: Well, I'm a big fan of the Bible and I think I should start by summarizing the book of Ezra.

Alex Trebek: (Sighing) Alright, go ahead.

Contestant: In Ezra 5, the people of Israel return to Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile, and they begin to rebuild the temple. The prophets Haggai and Zechariah encourage them to continue their work, and the people complete the temple in the sixth year of King Darius's reign.

Alex Trebek: (Sighing again) Okay. Anything else?

Contestant: Sure! After the temple is finished, the leaders of the people present their case to King Darius and he approves of their work. He even sends back a letter of support and supplies to help them continue the rebuilding effort.

Alex Trebek: (Rolling his eyes) That's great. Is that it?

Contestant: Almost! The people of Israel are so encouraged by King Darius's support that they continue to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and the other cities of Judah.

Alex Trebek: Ugh, okay. Anything else?

Contestant: That's it for Ezra 5!
