Contestant: Well, I'm a big fan of the Bible. So, I'll tell you a bit about 1 Corinthians 1.

Alex Trebek: [Sighing] All right.

Contestant: This chapter starts with Paul addressing the church of Corinth. He tells them that he thanks God for the grace that was given to them and commends them for their faith. Paul stresses the importance of living a holy life and of being unified in the faith. He also warns against divisions and disputes among them.

Alex Trebek: [Rolling his eyes] That's...great. Anything else?

Contestant: Paul then goes on to talk about the wisdom of God, which is far greater than human wisdom. He says that the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are not saved, but to those who are saved, it is the power of God.
