Joe: Alright, so what can you tell us about Ezekiel 10?

Bible Expert: Well, Ezekiel 10 is a continuation of Ezekiel's vision from chapter nine. In it, he witnesses a vision of God's presence in the midst of chaos. He sees four creatures with four faces that represent the four directions of the earth. They have four wings, four faces, and four wheels.

Joe: Wow, that's amazing. What else is going on in the chapter?

Bible Expert: Well, there's a lot going on. The creatures are surrounded by a storm cloud and fire that descends from heaven. Above them is a figure that looks like a man in a linen garment, and he's carrying a scroll. Ezekiel then sees a hand coming out of the cloud and it has a writing instrument in it, which is used to mark the foreheads of some of the people.

Joe: That's incredible! What does that symbolize?

Bible Expert: It symbolizes God's protection of the righteous and his judgment of the wicked. God then orders the four creatures to go out and punish the people who have not been marked. He also commands them to take away the idols from the Temple and bring them to the city. Finally, the chapter ends with God's glory departing from the Temple.

Joe: Wow, that's intense. Alright, so what can we learn from this chapter?

Bible Expert: We can learn that God is a God of justice and he will judge the wicked. He also protects the righteous and will reward them. We can also learn that God is a God of holiness and he will not tolerate idolatry or other forms of sin.
