Bible Expert: Yes, the King also ordered that a copy of the royal decree be sent to all the provinces so that everyone would know of Mordecai's new status.

Joe: Wow, that's really cool. So what was the result of all this?

Bible Expert: The result was that Mordecai was greatly honored by the King and by the people of the provinces. The Jewish people also rejoiced because Mordecai had been given such a great honor.
