Joe: Alright, so what have we got here? What's the deal with Revelation 7?

Bible Expert: Well Joe, this chapter is about the 144,000 chosen ones who will be sealed by God in order to protect them from the wrath of God that is about to come upon the earth.

Joe: Whoa! That sounds intense. What's the significance of the number 144,000?

Bible Expert: It's actually symbolic. It represents a perfect number of people that will be saved from the hardships of the end times.

Joe: Alright, so what happens to them?

Bible Expert: Well Joe, they are sealed with the mark of God so they are protected from the coming wrath. They are also given white robes and crowns of victory and they are standing around the throne of God worshipping Him.

Joe: Wow, that's really cool. So what happens after that?

Bible Expert: After that, an innumerable multitude of people from every nation, tribe, people and language are gathered around the throne of God and are praising Him.

Joe: Alright, so it sounds like there's a lot of people praising God in this chapter. Is that it?

Bible Expert: No, there's one more thing. The angels are given instructions to never harm the earth, the sea, or the trees until the servants of God have been sealed on their foreheads.
