Joe: Alright, so we are talking about Romans 12 and I'm here with Bible Expert Bob. So what's the deal with this chapter?
Bob: Well, Joe, in this chapter Paul is calling the believers in Rome to a life of holiness, self-sacrifice, and love. He emphasizes that we should not think too highly of ourselves and be humble.
Joe: Oh wow! That's really interesting! How does Paul make this happen?
Bob: He starts by calling us to offer our bodies as living sacrifices to God, which is a form of worship. Then he encourages us to think about others more highly than ourselves and to not be conceited.
Joe: So what does this mean for us today?
Bob: It means that we should be humble and think of others more highly than ourselves. We should be willing to be a living sacrifice to God and to serve him and others in whatever way we can.
Joe: That's really cool. So what else does Paul talk about in this chapter?
Bob: He talks about the importance of love, and how we should love each other sincerely and fervently. He also talks about how we should not be overcome by evil, but rather to overcome evil with good. Finally, he talks about how we should be devoted to one another in brotherly love and should honor one another.
Joe: Wow, so much good stuff in this chapter. Thanks, Bob. You've been a great Bible expert today!
