Joe: Alright Jamie, let's bring on the Bible Expert!

Bible Expert: Hi Joe, it's great to be here!

Joe: Nice to have you! So, what wild stories do we have today?

Bible Expert: Well, today we're talking about 1 Kings 5.

Joe: Alright, let's hear it!

Bible Expert: So, in this chapter, King Solomon of Israel enters into a treaty with King Hiram of Tyre in which they agree to provide each other with supplies and assistance. Solomon sends Hiram a large amount of gold, and Hiram sends him a large amount of lumber with which to build the Temple of Jerusalem.

Joe: Wow, that's a lot of gold!

Bible Expert: Indeed, it was. But Solomon was very wise in his dealings and was able to acquire the best lumber from Tyre by paying such a high price. He also hired a large number of skilled workers from Tyre to help with the construction of the Temple.

Joe: Wow, so Solomon was a pretty crafty guy!

Bible Expert: Yes, he was. He was also very generous. He provided food and accommodation for all the workers, and he even gave them gifts of gold and silver.

Joe: So that's how the Temple of Jerusalem was built!

Bible Expert: Yes, that's right. It was a huge undertaking and it took many years to complete. It was an impressive achievement and a great testament to Solomon's wisdom and generosity.
