• Chapter 1

    1. The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified {it} by his angel unto his servant John: / 2. Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

    1. Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; / 2. I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

  • Chapter 3

    1. And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

  • Chapter 4

    1. After this I looked, and, behold, a door {was} opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard {was} as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

  • Chapter 5

    1. And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. / 2. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

  • Chapter 6

    1. And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. / 2. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

  • Chapter 7

    1. And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

  • Chapter 8

    1. And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. / 2. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. / 3.

  • Chapter 9

    1. And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. / 2. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

  • Chapter 10

    1. And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow {was} upon his head, and his face {was} as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: / 2. And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and {his} left {foot} on the earth,

  • Chapter 11

    1. And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. / 2. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty {and} two months.

  • Chapter 12

    1. And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: {wonder: or, sign} / 2. And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

  • Chapter 13

    1. And saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. {name: or, names} / 2. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as {the feet} of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

  • Chapter 14

    1. And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty {and} four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. / 2. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

  • Chapter 15

    1. And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. / 2. And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, {and} over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

  • Chapter 16

    1. And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. / 2. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and {upon} them which worshipped his image.

  • Chapter 17

    1. And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

  • Chapter 18

    1. And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. / 2. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

  • Chapter 19

    1. And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: / 2. For true and righteous {are} his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

  • Chapter 20

    1. And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. / 2. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

  • Chapter 21

    1. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. / 2. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

  • Chapter 22

    1. And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. / 2. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, {was there} the tree of life, which bare twelve {manner of} fruits, {and} yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree {were} for the healing of the nations.
